Early spring in Coorabell

Blue blue skies, and the forest full of birds calling to each other - I guess the nesting activity will start soon. Right now I hear wompoo pigeons, whip birds, and unerneath the deep whoom-whoom of the tawny frogmouths. Here's a family of frogmouths (nightjars, rather than owls) taken by my friend Susan Purdy.
